Finally Making Some Money!

Well, starting yesterday I finally started  making money rather than spending money. I am working M, Tues afternoon/evening, and W at the vet clinic and Tues morning, Th and F at the lab out at UCONN.  The past two days have already gone flying by so I know the summer isn't planning on sticking around real long!  I guess I better enjoy it as it flies past!

My Last Weekend in Champaign

As most of you know, my sister Heidi flew out to Illinois this past Friday and spent the weekend with me and then drove back to Connecticut with me.  She got in Friday afternoon.  Friday evening we went to potluck with our grandparents.  Saturday morning, we went out with Gramp and our four Moser cousins to pick wildflower for Mother's Day bouquets, a tradition that my grandfather has done for many years.  It was neat to be able to be a part for the first time.  Here are some photos of it:

Gramp, Heidi, and Anna sorting the flowers:

Gramp and Anna putting the flowers in the vases (there were a few flowers that came from domestic garden beds but most of the them were wild!):

 The finished products:

We brought five of them to put on our female relative's graves for Mother's Day, including my Aunt Amy who died in 2004:

Saturday we ate lunch with Uncle Dan, Heather, and Andrea and then went to an large indoor flea market.  Then it was off to Champaign to get my stuff packed up.  We spent part of the evening with my friends Calvin and Bethany at their house.  They have the cutest little girl to whom I am "Uncle Dave."  Bethany took a few picture of me with her but none of them had both of us looking and smiling but here's a couple of my favorites:

Sunday Uncle Loren and Aunt Joan and Uncle Dan came to Champaign for church and we went out for breakfast before church.  Aunt Joan took this picture of Heidi and I before church:

Sunday after chruch Heidi and I headed east and stayed in Junction, OH Sunday night and Rittman, OH Monday night.  We got home yesterday afternoon.  I am off this week from work so am enjoying some nice relaxation (except for the hard work of helping Dad plant onions last night ;).

I'm Home!

Heidi and I arrived home today about 215pm.  We had a good trip out and really enjoyed staying at friends' places the last two nights.  I have to say, when I come home, I don't really feel like I ever left, I just slip right back into my spot here being the old, weird, goofy brother that I am!  Now, I can relax this week before getting to work next week!

Last Day of Class

Today was my last day of class and I survived! Now, it is just study tonight and tomorrow as I prepare for the final exam on Thursday and Friday.  The end is near, yet it feels so far at this point! I do know that it will go really fast though!

One More Week!

Yesterday completed my last full week of classes.  I have just one more week before I can call myself a third year vet student!  This coming week I have class on Monday and Tuesday, reading day on Wednesday, and then my final exam is Thursday and Friday.  This weekend is consisting of studying all day today (we just got done studying about disorders of the stomach such as ulcers, inflammation, and cancers but are taking a little break right now) and then tomorrow I will be in church and then studying and then have potluck in the evening.

Next weekend, Heidi flies out on Friday and we will be at Gramp and Gram's Friday night and then in Champaign Saturday night.  Saturday we will eat lunch with our cousins Heather and Andrea and go to Gordyville for the flea market that Heidi likes so much.  In the late afternoon and evening we will get all packed up to head back to Connecticut.  Sunday morning we will go out to breakfast with Uncle Loren and Aunt Joan and then be in Champaign church.  We will start driving east shortly after church.  We hope to be in Junction, OH Sunday night and Rittman, OH Monday night and then get home to CT on Tuesday the 14th of May.

No Explanation Needed

Found this online and thought I would share it (no offense to any medical doctors or aspiring medical doctors):
